We have established
a reputation as a family friendly and skills-based swim team. We
are a non-profit organization and are affiliated with USA
Swimming. We are accepting new swimmers ages 5 to 18!

The fees associated with being
a member of the Seals Swim Team are very reasonable compared to
other youth sports activities and swimming programs.
They
include:
USA Swimming
Registration: Swimmers on our Team must also be registered
members of USA Swimming. This provides insurance coverage for our
athletes while at practices and meets, and while traveling to or
from them. For 2010, registration for Year Round Athletes is
$50.00. Seasonal or summer registration is $32.00. Monthly Coaching Fee: Leopards Group =
$85.00 Galapagos Group = $75.00 Harps Group $50.00 When there are 3
or more swimmers in a family the following discounts apply:
Third swimmer = ½
Price
Fourth swimmer = No
charge
If 5 or more = ½ Price
for each
Meet Coaching
Fee: Since our Team does not generate income from hosting
meets we help pay for coaching time and Team expenses by adding a
fee of $10 if a swimmer attends one day of a meet, $20 if attending
two or more. The maximum is $40 per family.
Meet Entry
Fees: Entry fees vary depending on the team hosting the
meet. Usually $3 - $4 is charged for each event a swimmer enters. A
timing or pool fee of $2 - $5 is charged for each swimmer. Meets in
SD also include a $3 head tax per swimmer to support SD Swimming
LSC.
